I am looking to build a new system for mostly Business use (i.e. MS Office, web browsing with multiple tabs, large xls sheets) and was considering putting 16 GB ram on the PC. I was also wondering if there would be any benefit to go all out and put 32GB ram instead.I figured that I might get better use out of the PC spending that extra money towards a larger SSD (i.e. 1 TB vs 500 GB) vs more ram. I do have a laptop now with 8 GB ram and getting 16GB will help me out with large XLS files. What would you suggest?
DDR5 will be released early 2020, and as of right now DDR4 price are falling once they stop producing DDR4 the price will rise, so I would buy it now all I can afford .
