Multiple external monitors with laptop (Windows) — options – RedFlagDeals.com Forums

Right now I use a Lenovo T460 connected to two older Dell monitors through a Lenovo USB 3.0 \”dock\” (also kinda old).I am looking at getting a new laptop, likely Lenovo as well. I know the preferred option these days is to use USB-C hubs for \”docking\” but it seems (from Hot Deals discussions) that many of the new mid-range laptops do not support video via their USB-C ports. Is my Lenovo USB 3.0 dock a \”Lenovo-only\” thing? What options are there for multiple external monitors with laptops that don\’t support video via USB-C?
