How to Install Windows 7 on USB 3.0 Computer? – RedFlagDeals.com Forums

How in the world do I install Windows 7 on a computer with USB 3.0 ports? Specifically the Acer ATC-711-EB51 desktop. I spent the whole afternoon yesterday and today trying various methods and I still can\’t get it working properly. I\’ve followed various guides and none. I even went as far as using the internal DVD drive and while Windows 7 finally installed, Windows 7 won\’t recognize any USBs because they don\’t have the USB 3.0 drivers installed. I\’ve tried plugging the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 flash drive into the USB 2.0 ports as well but still no go. I know it\’s not a storage driver issue because it can find my SSD and HDD no problems when I install Windows 7 via the internal DVD drive. It\’s just that I can\’t actually get any further afterwards because the USB ports don\’t work until I install the drivers.Right now I have my keyboard plugged into one of the USB 2.0 ports and have \”emulate PS/2 keyboard and mouse\” enabled in BIOS. It\’s the only way for the keyboard and mouse to work. The error message I get during the Windows 7 is the following:Image

You could use nLite to slipstream the install drivers: https://www.ntlite.com/Slipstream updates while you\’re at it to cut down on the time needed to run Windows Updates: http://download.wsusoffline.net/
